Phone’s battery life issues can be resolved

The iPhone 5s and 5c hit the market on the Sept. 20. The release of these products has been just as much of a phenomenon as any of Apple’s product releases, with people lining up outside of every Apple Store every day waiting to get their hands on the latest technology the phones have in store for them. Both of the phones, however, are very different.
According to Apple.com, “The most advanced technology leads to this.” The iPhone 5s, priced at $199 – 399 based on the phones GB count, has more features than previous generations. These features include a remarkably thin appearance and Touch ID — a fingerprint identity sensor. Along with these features, Apple included color choices of silver, gold, and space gray. Other than being thinner and having a Touch ID, the iPhone 5s is the same as the iPhone 5 and priced hundreds of dollars more than the old model.
Michael Strahan, talk show host and former NFL player says the “s” in iPhone 5s stands for “sucker”, as in everyone who buys the new phone is just a “sucker” for new technology and products, even though it’s mostly the same.
As for the iPhone 5c, Apple.com says it’s “for the colorful.” The iPhone 5c is the iPhone but in multiple new colors. The newest colors that you can select from are: green, blue, yellow, pink, and white. The 5c costs $99-199. Included in both the iPhone 5s and 5c is the new iOS 7 update.
The iOS 7 update for iPhone was released along with the new phones. The update features an entire new design to the iPhone display and navigation systems. According to Apple.com, it makes the things you do every day even easier, faster, and more enjoyable. And while many of the apps look different, the way you do things feels perfectly familiar, just easier to navigate.
Though there have been complaints of the battery life draining quicker after users updating to the new iOS 7, there are ways to improve the battery life of your phone. According to ios.wonderhowto.com, there are nine ways to improve your phone’s battery life.
-
Turn off location services
-
Disable other system services that use GPS
-
Disable the Parallax Effect
-
Don’t leave Airdrop on for too long
-
Turn off Bluetooth & Wi-Fi when you don’t need them
-
Close out running applications
-

-

By disabling all these features, your iPhone’s battery draining time should decrease. The iOS 7 update may have affected the battery life, but it improved the charging time.
